On this album, Ullip and Steven Craven continue their joint work with improvised music. They consistently follow the path of pure feeling while recording their music. The theme of this album is a journey to the planets. Steven's trumpet wraps itself like a DNA chain around the sound carpets created by Ullip, which he uses from a wide variety of percussion instruments from classic and traditional origins. Soundfiles and his way of mixing then lead to such results. Together, Ullip and Steven Craven create a truly surreal landscape sound painting that immerses you in this indescribable journey to the planets.

Here Ullip & Craven with the Sound Garden project are experimenting in the moment, not only with what nature provides, it goes deeper using energies through coulours , light, feelings and emotions that rise from deep in the soul. A kind of synesthetic existance and state of mind transmitted from person to person.
Music is just another language which is able to transmit where words fail. It is a different kind of Science where musicians are experimenting in constant search of new formulas for ways to capture the emotions of audiences.
The Sound Garden project is a more natural approach with an in the moment instant improvisation technique which takes the listener on a sound journey.

Info Steven Craven :
Having been born into a long history and a family of pedigree brass players , originating from the brass band movement of the United Kingdom, Steven Craven soon found his path and submerged himself into the classical music idium.
After winning many competitions for solo performance including being awarded finalist in the brass categary of the BBC Young musicion of the year 1982 at just 16 years of age and previousely having being awarded Champion of Great Britain in 1978 at the young age of 12 , Steven knew his career was going to be with his chosen instrument.
Throughout his early career he studied along side the best of the best and played in as many high performing brass bands as possible manily from his home county of Yorkshire.
The famouse Black Dyke Band and the Yorkshire Imperial were to become part of Stevens experience until he turned more to the classical trumpet in 1984.
Whilst studying at the Huddersfield Politechnic he made the change preparing himself to embark on classical tutorage at the Guildhall school of music and Drama between 1984 to 1988.
Graduating in 1988 with a first class degree in performance and teaching and awarded the Phillip Jones Brass prize among others from the Guildhall school of Music and Drama.
During his final year at the Guildhall school Steven won the position of trumpet player with the Royal National Theatre in Londons Southbank and was a regular freelance collaborating with fine world class orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Symphony and previousely been a member of the European Youth Orchestra and Rotary international Orchestra between his times working as trumpet for the Musical Westside Story in Germany, France, Denmark and Switzerland.
A change of life soon atracted Steven when in 1991 he was called for an audition for a more perminant position with the newly founded orchestra in the city of Malaga, Spain. Steven knew this would be quite a challenge after submerging himself with musicians from where he was already establishing himself , however , taking the risk he accepted and has been a founder member of the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra for the past 32 years.
His musical relationship began with Ullip and the Soundgarden project during the extraordenary years of the Covid Pandemic. Steven and Ullip first met socially where their ideas were exchanged and later met to record in the studio where they agreed their ideas and formed an amazing new idium in music making which they soon found themselves playing their music in many situations like assosiation concerts, festivals , art events including recordings for soundtracks and working with many international artists of all idiums. Ullip&Craven can be heard in their latest recording project, a new CD 'Both Sides Now'. And can be seen on many You tube videos.
